Volunteers are welcomed to work with our members. Coaches, tutors, guest speakers are all welcome at the Haiti Y. Please contact the local Program Administrator (see Staff Contact) at the Center where you would like to be involved.
Recruitment of Instructors and Volunteers
Any instructor (employee or volunteer) must be a member of the YMCA and imbued with the ideology, history and values of this Foundation. He/she must have read, understood, and signed the code of ethics.
Volunteers are divided into two categories: those supervising students from the 1st to the 6th grade, and those supervising students from 6th to 12th grade. To this end, they must have at least completed their secondary education and provide a resume or CV to be considered for a volunteer position.
