After School Sport

The YMCA promotes physical activity, sports and active living such as tennis, football (soccer) and shotokan (karate) supervised by coaches. The objectives of this program are to strengthen and discipline the body and mind of young people, and teach and practice the skills needed for each sport. Participants must be members of the YMCA. Elementary school children may participate in after school sports programs only after completing their homework assignments. High school students may participate as long as they are involved in other YMCA activities.
