Camps

Camps organized by the YMCA of Haiti allowing young people to come together to actively participate in activities based on values ​​such as responsibility, leadership, respect, honesty and inclusiveness. Camp activities promote independence, resourcefulness, acceptance of others and differences, participation in group life, as well spiritual, intellectual, and physical fulfillment.

Sports Camp:
The Haiti YMCA, in collaboration with the Ridgefield YMCA (Connecticut, USA) provides a week-long residential camp experience for youth 12-18 years old. Participants learn soccer, basketball and volleyball skills as well as the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Day Camp
This camp takes place every summer after the sports camp for children 6 to 12 years. Camp activities include sports, theater, music, crafts, language courses, dance and computer literacy.

STEM Camp
STEM camp is focused teaching principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This camp aims to instill in children basic notions in these subjects but in a very practical way. This program is supported by the YMCA of Greater New York.
